The Tips Report provides a flexible way to review and analyze employee tips over any date range. Whether you're reconciling payroll, reviewing tip distributions, or auditing cash and credit card gratuities, the report can be customized to display detailed transaction information or summary totals. Multiple grouping and sorting options allow you to view tip data in the format that best fits your business needs.
To print a Tips report, click on Reports, Revenue, Tips report.



Choose the date range.
There are several preset report options. If you choose one of these options, the setting will load and you can print. These include:
- By date (how the legacy report printed).
- Tips by Employee (Summary)
- Employee by Date (Detailed)
- Date by Employee (Detailed)
You can also choose other options to create a Custom report.
Detailed – Show each transaction detail including client, date, amount, payment type.
Summary – Gives only a total without the client detail.
Print for All employees or hit Select and choose one or more employees.
Important Note: Approved Tips Filtering Requires Split Tips
The "Approved Tips Only" option is available when using the Split Tips feature and allows you to exclude tips that have not yet been reviewed or finalized. Click here for more details.
Group by Employee, Date or Payment Method.
You can add a second grouping with the same options: Employee, Date, Payment Method.
Choose how the report will display with Sort by Date or Employee.
