If pet pictures appear sideways or rotated incorrectly in Hello-Groom, the issue is typically related to how the photo was taken and stored by the mobile device—not Hello-Groom itself. Some Android and iPhone devices are known to save image orientation differently, which can cause photos to display correctly in the thumbnail but appear rotated when viewed elsewhere.

📝 NOTE: Hello-Groom does not control whether photos are displayed in portrait or landscape orientation.

Troubleshooting Rotated Pictures

If you're taking landscape photos and they appear in portrait orientation (or vice versa), try one of the following:

• Take the picture while holding your phone in the opposite landscape direction.
• Rotate the image using the Windows Photos app, then save the corrected image back to the Pix folder on your main computer or server.

Rotating a Picture Using Windows Photos

1. Double-click the image to open it in the Windows Photos app.
   • If it opens in a different program, right-click the image and select Open with > Photos.
2. Click the Rotate button (the circular arrow) in the toolbar.
   • Each click rotates the image 90° clockwise.
3. Save the image.
   • If the image doesn't save automatically, click Save or Save a Copy.

💡 SHORTCUT: You can press Ctrl + R while the image is open in the Windows Photos app to rotate it.
