If you need to back date an invoice or receipt, you can easily change the date by following the steps below.
Navigate to the Financial tab on the left hand side and choose either View Invoices or View Receipts.

Click on the name of the client to open the invoice. You can also click on the gray drop down arrow next to the price and hit Edit.

If editing the invoice, make sure to click the yellow edit button in the top right corner.

Now you can edit the date. Hit save.

In View Receipts, click on the client name to open up the receipt or use the gray drop down arrow>Edit.
Edit the date and save.
