Expired vaccinations not showing in confirmation email

If someone reports that a pet(s) has expired vaccines but those vaccines arent showing up in the confirmation email, there are a few things to check for this.

 

  1. Do they have their vaccines marked as required?

    In desktop: File>Lists>Vaccinations.



    In HG/Cloud: Setup>Lists>Vaccines.



    If they don't have vaccines marked as required, make sure they are marked as such and continue troubleshooting.

  2. Does the vaccine only have an expiration date and not a "given" date?

    If so, a date needs to be entered here in order for the expired vaccine to show up on the confirmation emails.
